How to join Edge Growth?
Recruitment process: We have a rigorous recruitment process which emphasises cultural/value fit without compromising on capability. We love what we do and believe that thriving in the edge environment requires it to be more than just a job:
1. CV assessment: We typically ask candidates to send through a CV which we use to do a high level capability fit against the role. We aren’t overly prescriptive on experience but look for specific key skills and competencies that are not easily acquired.
2. An introductory interview, this is normally an hour in length and serves to confirm that you stack up against your CV capabilities. This interview gives the first indication of cultural fit and allows the candidate to start getting a feel for whether they would enjoy working for Edge Growth.
3. Issue/problem workshop: Being a new business we have many challenges for which external insight is invaluable. We create an issue workshop scenario where we get a candidate to work with the Edge Growth team to collectively solve a real business problem facing Edge Growth. This interaction gives us insight into your ability to think beyond your role, apply and extend your experience and also tests how you interact and contribute in the team environment.
4. Business case: The final interview takes the form of a business case, where the candidate is asked to work on and present specific deliverables on a case relevant to the role they are likely to fulfil if recruited by Edge Growth. This tests both hard & soft skills and the candidates ability to handle situations in a ‘real-life’ work environment
